March 19, 2010  Clarke County Open Space Photography Contest Winners

DECEMBER 2010
Three gallery artists will be doing live demonstrations on Saturday in December from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm as part of the gallery's Art of Making Art educational series.  The program was launched in 2010 to enhance knowledge and appreciation for the arts in our community. 


DECEMBER 3 - HOLIDAY WREATHS
SAMANTHA PIGOTT fashions stunning wreaths from magnolia leaves, boxwood and other greens found on her farm, adorning them with novel ornaments such as cinnamon sticks and horseshoes as well as classic holiday bows.


DECEMBER 10 - HANDMADE WOODEN TOYS
FRED SHECKELS turns wood into wonderful toys – ranging from simple pull toys to intricate fire trucks with all the trimmings -- to delight and excite the imagination of young children. 


DECEMBER 17 - ART CARDS AND JEWELRY

MARY MAYHEW creates one-of-a-kind flower garden and herb garden gift sets, “Note-able Cat” cards as well as cat-themed Christmas cards. New work includes cat-themed pins and necklaces.
