Berryville Main Street has chosen Houseworks, a local design/build firm, to transform the town’s first firehouse and former town office into an office and retail destination. The historic brick structure, built in the 1930’s, will house Berryville Main Street’s headquarters, an art gallery, and a shop selling items produced by Berryville and Clarke County residents. The larger quarters will also include a resource room for residents as well as current and potential business owners.

Houseworks is a full-service construction company known for its superior craftsmanship, attention to detail, and responsiveness to clients. The company was founded by Micki and Will Martindale in 2001. Greg Lee signed on in 2007. Will and Greg are skilled carpenters who collaborate with Micki on concept development and design.
